Richard passed away at home unexpectedly on Saturday, February 2, 2013. Richard was born February 20, 1959 in Paw Paw, MI to the late William and Louise (Teague) McLemore. Richard loved going camping with his family and also watching Westerns and Sons of Anarchy. On May 31, 2002 in Dowagiac, MI Richard was united in marriage to his loving wife, Pam (Slavings), who survives. Also surviving are his children, Charity (Wayne) Hamblin, James (Melissa) McLemore and Marraco (Abraham) Cano; step-children, James Gray, Christopher (Leslie) Gray, Andrew Gray and Ricky Gray; 10 grandchildren; brothers, Glenn Nix and Hoyt Nicks. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Aaliya Hamblin. Family will receive friends on Thursday (2/7) from 12-1 p.m. at the Graced Apostolic Lighthouse of Decatur (47377 M51, Decatur, MI) where funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m., Pastor Jack Midkiff officiating. Private interment will take place, Oak Grove cemetery, Lawton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Graced Apostolic Lighthouse of Decatur.
