Jack C. Swinfin died peacefully January 12, 2015 with his wife by his side at Bronson Commons in Mattawan, Michigan. He was born in Aurora, Illinois the son of Arthur E. Swinfin and Gladys "Butsy" Steinke on May 4, 1939. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1964. He was united in marriage to Connie S. Keck on February 11, 1972. Jack was employed at Speicher and Gaylords in Plainfield, IL for 45 years. After retiring, they moved to Lawrence Michigan. Jack attended Decatur Bible Church. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys and Arthur. He is survived by his loving wife Connie; daughters Erin Mongelli and Shelley Facio; grandchildren Andrew, Jordan, Jack, Jessica, Peyton, Kathryn, Kellyn, Kamryn, and Joseph; sisters Diane Fisk and Nancy Stewart; many nieces and nephews. Jack will be deeply missed by everyone who's life he touched, and will live forever in our hearts and memories. We will never forget his love of cars, the Chicago Bears, and his silly songs. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 16, 2015, 11 a.m. at Decatur Bible Church in Decatur, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made to Decatur Bible Church.
