Isabel passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Bronson Lakeview Hospital in Paw Paw, MI. Isabel was born October 24, 1920 in Clark County, OH to the late George and Ruth (Frantz) Plank. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Mishawaka, IN as well as the Bercliff Garden Club and PEO. Isabel was a passionate keyboard player and a lover of good music. She also enjoyed gardening, weaving, spending her winters in Arizona and loving her grandchildren. On May 27, 1957 in Springfield, OH Isabel was united in marriage to her loving husband, R. Wayne Devers who preceded her in death in 1999. Surviving are a son, Phil (Julie) Devers of Gobles, MI; grandchildren, Sean, Nile and Claire of Gobles; sisters, Virginia Fuller of Hastings, MI and Christine (Paul) Metz of Dialton, OH; 13 nieces and nephews and their families. Family will receive friends on Monday (1/21) from 12-1 p.m. at the Ferncliff Cemetery and Arboretum Chapel in Springfield, OH where funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m., Joel Agustus officiating. There will also be a time of remembrance on Saturday (2/2/13) in the chapel of the First United Methodist Church in Mishawaka, IN where family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. with a memorial service following at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
