of Lawton passed away Thursday, August 4, 2011 in Three Rivers, MI. Inez was born on November 28, 1920 in Alabama, the daughter of the late Monroe and Doralee Standridge. Inez loved quilting and spending time in her gardens. She also adored her feline friend, Kitty. In October of 1939, Inez married her beloved husband, James, who preceded her in death in 2000. She was also preceded by a grandson, Lance Root, 4 sisters and 1 brother. Inez is survived by her daughter, Joyce Root; granddaughters, Alicia (Jay Bundara) Edson and Brandi Root; grandson, Brandon Root; great grandchildren, Jami Edson, Kira Harris, Kayla Harris and Joshua Betley; brothers, Quincy and Lloyd Standridge; family friends, Brecka and Alex; several nieces and nephews. Family will meet friends on Monday (8/8) from 6-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held on Tuesday (8/9) at 12 noon. Memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA.
