Gerald "Gary" Allen Milam

Gerald Allen Milam Sr., 67, of Lawton, passed away early in the morning on Friday, October 18, 2024, in the comfort of his own home. 

He was born April 5, 1957, in Three Rivers, Michigan, the son of Billie Milam and Evelyn Lucile (Westphal) Firestone.

Gary loved being in the outdoors, he was an avid hunter and spent most of his life hunting morels, deer, and did plenty of fishing. He was a very hardworking man, retiring after countless years of being a driver delivering papers, and many more years being a carpenter. Gary enjoyed getting together and having a good time with friends and family all throughout his life, making many memories along the way. Gary will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him. 

He is survived by his son, Gerald Allen Milam Jr.; daughters, Jasmine Milam, Samantha (Lee) Carpenter and Danielle (Colin) Bol; grandchildren, Tyler, Bobbi Jean, Tyraan, Vivian, and Holden and two brothers, Kevin (Tina) Firestone and Keith Milam.

Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Mona Milam; daughter, Amber Milam; and siblings, Cheryl Rosemarynowski and Danny Milam.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life service on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the Paw Paw Eagles, 63237 M-40, Lawton. with Rev. Ron packer officiating.
