Geneva passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the Bronson Lakeview Hospital in Paw Paw. Geneva was born on September 8, 1917 in Kalamazoo, MI, the daughter of the late Roy and Anna Laura (Fisher) Sisson. On August 5, 1942, Geneva was united in marriage to Howard J. Wohlfert, who preceded her in death in 1994. Surviving are 3 daughters, Patricia (John) Sonnevil, Gayle (James) Rock and Mary (Juris) Kaps; 9 grandchildren, Michelle, Lisa, Craig, Stacey, Ashley, Katy, Jonathan, Brady and Jessey; many great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Collick. Geneva was preceded in death by a son, Gregory J. Wohlfert; daughter, Susan M. Wohlfert (November 19, 2011); 3 brothers, Wes, Jud and Lee Sisson. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday (12/3) at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Paw Paw, Rev. Fr. Joseph Xavier officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Mary's Cemetery. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission.
