Frances Marie (Klobucher) Young

Frances Marie Young, 84, of Portage, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 peacefully at home.

She was born January 21, 1936 in Mattawan, the daughter of the late William Klobucher and Mary Zakrajsek Klobucher.

On November 19, 1955, at Saint Mary Catholic Church in Paw Paw, she married Russell Young who survives.

She is also survived by her two daughters, Tess (John) Gooch and Amy (Don) McNally; one son, Russell (Angel) Young; four grandchildren, Cassie  Wendling, Hannah Wendling, Jeremy McNally and Colleen McNally; two nieces, Ann (Ken Barron) Kellogg and Mary (Jim) Purcell, nephew, Scott (Joanna) Kellogg.

Frances was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Wendling and her sister, Pat Kellogg.

Cremation will take place. Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 11:00 am at St John Bosco Catholic Church in Mattawan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ascension Home Hospice or to the charity of choice.
