Evelyn passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Bronson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lawton, MI. Evelyn was born June 29, 1924 in Kalamazoo, MI the daughter of the late Clarence and Alice (Akers) Fuller. She was a long time member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Lawton and loved being around kids. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and for many years made outfits for babies. She loved bingo, visiting casinos and traveling all over but more than anything she enjoyed being a mother and grandmother. Surviving are her daughters, Mary (Jeff) Roseboom and Ruth (Ron) Cerny; granddaughter, Willow (Justin) Freese; great grandson, Jacob Freese; brother, David (Joanne) Fuller; sister-in-law, Marilyn Fuller; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her 2 husbands, Russell Young and Wendell Wickett; brothers, Pete Fuller and Tom Fuller. Per her wishes her body was donated to the University of Michigan for medical research. Private interment will take place at a later date, Oak Grove Cemetery, Lawton. A memorial service will be held on Saturday (12/15), 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Methodist Church, Lawton. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church or Alzheimer's Association.
