Ernie "Jr." Shaw

Ernie "Jr." Shaw, 76, of Lawrence, passed away Thursday March 11, 2021 at his home.

Ernie was born in Muskegon October 14, 1944, the son of the late Ernest and Esther (Ortquist) Shaw. He was united in marriage to Billie Jacobs Shaw on June 20, 1964 in Lawrence. Ernie enjoyed fishing and hunting over the years. He liked to tinker around the home and go to antique tractor shows and auctions. He would often meet his "coffee crew" for morning coffee. Ernie's favorite past time was taking his Honda motorcycle out for a ride.

He is survived by his wife Billie Jacobs Shaw, his daughter, Jodi (John) Lubis; son, Frank (Lee) Shaw; four grandchildren, Debbie (Josh) Stone, Aubrey Shaw, Monica Lubis and Matt Lubis; four great-grandchildren, Allison Stone, Grace Stone, Ana Stone and Josephine Stone; brother, Wayne Shaw, sister, Sharon Shaw; along with his nephews and his sister in law, Pat Shaw. Ernie was preceded in death by his brother, Alan Shaw.

The family will gather with friends on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 3-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 W. Michigan Ave., Paw Paw. Cremation will follow. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
