Beth passed away Thursday afternoon, February 9, 2012 at White Oaks in Lawton. She was born March 7, 1919 in Dodgeville, WI the daughter of the late Charles and Cecilia (Schaff) Goldthorpe. She was employed by the catalog division of J.C. Penny in Cedar Rapids, IA, Milwaukee, WI, St. Paul, MN and retiring in Vernon Hills (Chicago) after 20 years in 1980. Beth was very social and loved to travel. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dodgeville, WI and currently a member St. Mary's Catholic Church, Paw Paw. On May 21, 1940 in Dodgeville, WI, Beth was united in marriage to John F. Kiley who survives. Also surviving are 2 children, Kevin (Janice) Kiley of Cedar Rapids, IA and Connie (Kenneth) Clifford of Paw Paw; 7 grandchildren, John, Jacob, Mary, Jeff, Matt, Jim and Sean; great grandchildren, Spencer and Brittany. She was preceded in death by a son, Gregory John Kiley in Oct. of 1997 and 6 siblings, Bob, John, Charles, Ruth, Helen and Cecilia. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday (2/13) 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Paw Paw. On Tuesday, Feb. 14th a Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m., (cst) at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dodgeville, WI. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Michigan.
