Eleanor passed away peacefully at Bronson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lawton, MI on Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Eleanor was born September 18, 1917 in Maple Grove, MI to the late Ward and Lillian (Carlson) Lee. Eleanor's passion was her family and she devoted her life to spending all the time with them that she could. Surviving are her children, Ward (Leslie) Helakoski, Janine (Fred) Maxeiner and Leeann (James T.) Netzer; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; sister, Annabel (Don) Kostelny. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Helakoski in 1969, as well as 2 sisters. Per her wishes cremation has taken place and no public services are scheduled at this time. Interment will take place at a later date in Ewen, MI.
