Edward "Farmer Ed" Jansto

November 5, 1924 — January 13, 2014

Edward "Farmer Ed" Jansto, 89, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014 at Meadow Woods in Bloomingdale. He was born November 5, 1924 in Chicago, the son of the late John and Katarina (Sterba) Jansto. Ed served in the U.S. Army during WW II, and moved to Paw Paw in 1958 where he was a dairy and beef cattle farmer.
He is survived by nieces and nephews, and a sister-in-law, Helen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings and spouses, Christine and Walter Kasper, Anna Gilmartin, John and Mildred Jansto, George Jansto, and Steve and Helen Jansto.
Cremation has taken place and interment of cremains will be at Mt. Vernon Memorial Estates, Lemont, IL.
