Dorothy passed away peacefully Sunday morning, January 29, 2012 at her home. She was born November 30, 1940 in Kalamazoo the daughter of the late William H. and Eva A. (Johnson) Weatherall. She was a graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School and helped manage the family businesses. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who enjoyed reading and going to the casino. She was also known as mom and grandma by dozens of kids thru the years. On November 8, 1958 in Kalamazoo Dorothy was united in marriage to John A. Lepley who survives. Also surviving are 5 children, John A. (Paula) Lepley of Paw Paw, Brenda A. (Mike) Sherburn of Lawton, James H. Lepley of Mattawan, Mike A. Lepley of Kalamazoo and Don W. Lepley of Lawton; grandchildren, Brandon Lepley, Fallon Lepley, Steve Sherburn, Christopher Sherburn, Sara (Sherburn) Milbauer, James Lepley, Josh Lepley, Jordan Oxley, Sheila Lepley and Alexis Lepley; great grandchildren, Natalie Lepley, Chase Lepley and Logan Lepley; brother, Larry Weatherall of Vicksburg; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Gail Mihelich, in-laws, Rosemary Lepley and Alden D. Lepley. Cremation has taken place and a memorial celebration will be held later in the summer. Arrangements are by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to West Michigan Cancer Center or Hospice of Southwest Michigan.
