Donna past away Wednesday morning, November 6, 2013 at Maple Lake Assisted Living, Paw Paw. She was born Nov. 19,1931 the daughter of the late Carl and Bertha (Rienstra) Limbacher. Following graduation, Donna enlisted into the U.S. Navy in July of 1952 during the Korean War and served on active duty until 1964 and retired from the Navy reserves in 1974. She was a member and Past Commander of the American Legion, McGowan-Johnson Post #68, Paw Paw and a member of the Past Commanders Club. She served on the Van Buren County Board of Commissioners and was a secretary for attorney Warren Sundstrand. On March 20, 1958 in Grand Rapids, Donna was united in marriage to Lamar E. Luce who preceded her in death on December 3, 2006. Surviving are her twin sister: Joyce Hanshue of Lowell, MI, nieces and nephews, Lisa Smith, DeeAnn Wilcox, Paula Griffeth, Kerry Pry, Bart Griffeth, Ross Griffeth, and Curt Griffeth. Family will receive friends, Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013 11 am to 12 noon at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where a memorial service will be held at 12 noon with Rev. Tim Gunderson officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Custer National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. with full military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to Maple City Veterans Memorial Park, Paw Paw.
