Donald Frank Wills, 85, of Portage, MI, died July 28, 2020 in Kalamazoo, MI. He was born on January 6, 1935 in Chicago, IL, son of John and Ruby (Carmany) Wills.

Don served faithfully in the Korean War with the United States Army from November 1953 through October 1955 and was honorably discharged with a sharpshooter medal. Upon his return home he was a barber for many years and also practiced professional taxidermy for a number of years before his retirement. He enjoyed repairing things and tinkering with his hands as well as being an avid hunter and outdoors-man. He enjoyed talking and exchanging stories with others in his trades.

Surviving are his Sons, Stanley (Lori) Wills and Dale (Brenda) Wills, Step-Son, Glenn (Jenny) Hartzell; Grandchildren, Kylie (Anthony) Wargolet, Justin Hartzell, Travis Chamberlin, and Trevor Chamberlin; 1 Great-Grandchild, Avery Wargolet; Brother, John Wills; Step-Daughter-in-law, Laurie Hartzell; many special friends and other loving family. Don was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Carol (Lockwood) Wills, Step-Daughter, Rene Chamberlin and Step-Son, Marty Hartzell.

Private family services will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery, on Wednesday, August 19, 2020. Interment will follow.
