Donald Downing Goodrich

Donald Downing Goodrich, 76, of Marcellus, MI, passed away Friday, May 19, 2023 at Ascension Borgess-Pipp Hospital in Plainwell, MI.

He was born January 3, 1947, in Moline, Illinois, the son of Harold Goodrich, Sr. and Esther Narlene (Lundahl) Goodrich.

Donald loved being an outdoorsman.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He also loved camping and just spending time in nature.  He was ordained as a minister of The Church of Jesus Christ and was an active member of the church.

On June 1, 1973, in, he married Jane (Siverly) Goodrich who survives. Donald was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

He is also survived by his son, Patrick Goodrich; daughter, Linda Goodrich; grandchildren, Trenton, Logan and Nathan; Sisters, Alma Donelson, Nancy Huston, PattyWheeler, Naomi Chavez and Essy Goss; brothers, Ronald and Harold Goodrich, Jr.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Sr. and Esther Goodrich.

A memorial service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ, 121 E. St. Mary St., Decatur, on June 17, 2023, at 11:00 am.
