Dennis LeRoy Amm

Dennis LeRoy Amm, 77, of Lawton, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, Monday March 3, 2025, at home in Lawton. 

He was born April 6, 1947, in South Bend, Indiana, the son of Milburn LeRoy Amm and June Mary (Winegar) Amm.

Dennis enjoyed the outdoors and spent lots of days fishing and hunting. He also liked to watch his beloved Fighting Irish on TV and always cheered them on. He truly was an avid Notre Dame fan. Dennis was a family man at heart and looked forward to family pictures and celebrating Christmas with everybody. He coached his children's sports when they were younger and was their biggest cheerleader. When his grandchildren came along, he loved to take them to the fish hatchery and be in their presence.

He is survived by his son, Donald (Fiance Hailey) Amm of Lawton; daughter, Danielle (Scott) Doornhaag of Maryville, TN; grandchildren, Mackenzie Amm, Dylan Amm, Natalie Amm, Addison Doornhaag, and DJ Amm; sister, Judy Kiel and brother, Jerry (Marcia) Amm. 

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, David and Donald Amm. 

Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Adams Funeral Home, 502 W. Michigan Avenue, Paw Paw, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. A funeral service with commence at 2:30 p.m. with Patti Haas officiating.
