David went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 28, 2012 at home surrounded by his family. Dave was born April 30, 1950 in Kalamazoo, MI the son of the late Joost and Clara (VanMeter) VanNoorloos. After graduating from Vicksburg High School in 1968 Dave went to work for Family Foods as a meat cutter and then went on to work for Coca Cola, retiring in 1998. He was an avid hunter and also loved fishing and many other outdoor activities. On April 17, 1987 Dave was united in marriage to his loving and caring wife of 25 years, Darlene (Guritz), who survives. Also surviving are his brother, Mike (Carolyn) VanNoorloos; father and mother-in-law, George and Jennie Guritz; sister-in-law, Linda (Marty) Koziol; 2 nieces, 2 nephews, 2 grandnieces and 1 grandnephew; many close friends and fellow avid outdoorsmen. Family will receive friends on Tuesday (10/2) from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Private interment will follow, Wildey Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be directed to West Michigan Cancer Center or Hospice of Southwest Michigan.
