David was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, on August 22, 1987, to Marcia Hoke (Heuser) and Scott Reed. He was killed in a tragic accident on January 1, 2023.
He was an incredibly devoted father, husband, beloved son and brother.
David was an extremely talented welder, metal fabricator and artist. He founded David Reed Welding. He was happiest when with his children, outdoors, having fun with family and friends, camping, listening to music and running his “Yota” at Marlin’s Mud Bog. David had a huge heart and would help anyone in need. He worked hard and lived “large.”
David’s light will continue to shine through his six beautiful and cherished children Robert, Parker, Naomi, Charlie, Calista and Georgia, their mother, Amanda Reed (Anthony), his parents, Marcia & Jerry Hoke (Lawrence); sisters Meghan (Sebastian) Salerno, Kristen (Jim) Wilkins, Lisa (Gabriel) Hodgson and Danielle (Andy) Fletcher; 11 cherished nieces and nephews; a large extended family and many friends. He has been welcomed into heaven by his beloved grandparents Robert and Georgia (Sousley) Heuser, grandparents Kenneth and Judy Reed and many of his loved ones.
