David Allen McDaniel

David Allen McDaniel, 58, of Lawrence, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022, in Saint Joseph, Michigan.

He was born January 11, 1964, in Paw Paw, Michigan, the son of William McDaniel and Bernita (Damaske) Marko.

Dave was a simple and loving family man. Over the years before his health declined, he enjoyed sporadic getaways with his family, trips to Chicago and season tickets for K-Wings and member of the booster club. In more recent years, Dave and his family spent the summer months at their seasonal sight at Oak Shores Campground in Decatur. In addition to his love for his family, Dave also held his animals close to his heart.

He is survived by his mother Bernita (Bunny) Marko, wife Patricia (Harris) McDaniel, two daughters, Ashley (Derek) Duke and Alycia McDaniel; one son, Andrew McDaniel; sister, Linda (Steve) Hall; three grandchildren, Haylie Kiwiet, Lyllie Duke and Gwendolynne Duke. David is also survived by his four-legged friends, Kiara, Thor and Sadie.
