Darlene June (Harrison) Orser

Darlene June Orser, 82, of Bangor and formerly of Mattawan, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021 at the Rose Arbor Residence in Kalamazoo.

She was born April 11, 1939 in Bangor, the daughter of Walter Harrison and Mildred (Schultz) Harrison.

Darlene had a strong faith and was a member of the Paw Paw Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was an avid bird lover and enjoyed watching the birds. Her favorite were the beautiful red cardinals. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting and seeing her great grandson, Bentley.

She is survived by her two sons, Brian (Donna) Lecureux and Tracy Lecureux; one daughter, Julie Dudek; Two Step-sons, Doug (Lori) Orser and Dave (Sheila) Orser; step-daughter, Deanna (Doug) Gagne; five sisters, Shirley (Richard) Hagen, Linda (Earl) Nash, Jackie (JR) Fraley, Marilyn Pifer and Jeannie (Jerry) Kuipper; four grandchildren, Derek Lecureux, Brittany Dudek, Courtney (Brandon) Wall and Collin Dedek; great-grandchild, Bentley Nelson.

Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Max Orser, step-daughter, Linda, her sister, Meredith Wilson and her brother, Ted Harrison.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no services at this time. Burial will take place in Owosso at a later date.
