Danny Owen Pryor, 77, of Decatur, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at his home in Decatur.
He was born June 28, 1947, in Three Rivers, Michigan, the son of Aubrey Owen Pryor and Virginia (Fish) Adams.
Danny was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and Paw Paw American Legion McGowen-Johnson Post #68, where he served as a Chaplain and past Commander. He enjoyed going to the local flea markets, collecting antiques and cameras. Danny also loved listening to "oldies" music.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Debra (Grandstaff) Pryor; three sons, Lance Devenport, Christopher (Kasey) Pryor and Michael (Lanette) Pryor; stepson, Destin (Nicole) Koppers; 20 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, brother, Gerald Adams; sister-in-law, Murphy Pryor and nephew, Doug (Becky) Millard.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, stepdaughter, Shay Lynn Furhman Eisenhardt; brother, "Big Dan" Pryor and sister, Sandy Millard.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 502 W. Michigan Avenue, Paw Paw. A memorial service will commence at 7:30 p.m. with Dan Brooks. Danny will be laid to rest at Fort Custer National Cemetery with full military honors.
