Dan Tig Watts died unexpectedly on May 21 at his home in Lawrence. He was born July 29, 1962, in St. Joseph, a son of Roland and Glenda Watts. He attended Kalamazoo Public Schools, graduating from Kalamazoo Central High School in 1980, and attended the automotive program at Ferris State University. He had an auto repair business at his home. Dan loved people and spent his life helping others. He also loved to paint, enjoyed music, and computer research. He had a tender heart and loved animals, including his dog, Lola, and two cats. Dan is survived by his mother and stepfather, Glenda and Harry Demissianos, a stepsister and several aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as a number of caring friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Roland, his father, Roland Watts, and his adored grandfather, Tig Brown. There will be a celebration of life at his home in Lawrence, date to be announced.
