Frances went to be with her Lord Sunday afternoon, March 3, 2013 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. She was born June 18, 1921 in Johnstown, WV the daughter of the late Clete and Fannie (Queen) Post. Frances was a graduate of Buckhannon High School, West Virginia and then received her associates degree in business. She was employed by the War Department during World War II in Washington, D.C. as a manager and later as a secretary in Columbus, OH helping support her husband as he completed his degree at Ohio State University. She was a devoted homemaker, mother and grandmother. Frances spent the past 18 years living in Paw Paw and was a life-long member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was an avid reader, bridge player, enjoyed the needle arts, as well as the many cats and dogs in her life. On June 29, 1946 in Akron, OH, Frances was united in marriage to Eldon J. McCue who preceded her in death on August 14, 1987. Surviving are a daughter, Pamela K. (Mark) Bielang of Paw Paw; son, Stephen J. McCue of Horner, WV; her niece Cindy (Tim) Fogelsong Rock and their 3 sons, Jared, Justin and Jason; grandchildren, Dr. Rebecca (Damian) Stafford, Andrea S. (fiancAC., Ken Losure) Bielang and Adam M. (fiancAC.e, Kelli Jacobs) Bielang; brother, Richard Post; cousins, Bob and Peggy Post and family of Buckhannon, WV and Clifford and Helen Sue Williams and family of Johnstown, WV. Cremation has taken place with services and interment to be held in West Virginia at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Michigan. Special thanks to Terri Clark Borgman and Eva Ticknor for their constant support and presence and her best friend Maize Seeber. Arrangements are by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
