Cindy passed away Sunday morning, October 21, 2012 at the home of her daughter with her family at her side. She was born March 27, 1948 in Sturgis, MI the daughter of Ralph and Wilma (Sweet) Chiddister. She was a graduate of Paw Paw High School class of 1966. After High School Cindy was a counselor for the Van Buren County Mental Health. She owned and operated the Meeth Dance Studio for many years, and was involved with Miss Kathy's Dance Studio in Decatur. She was the cheerleading coach for Paw Paw High School, organized and started the Paw Paw High School Dance Team. Cindy's greatest joy was her grandchildren. On May 20, 1967 in Paw Paw Cindy was united in marriage to Nathan R. Meeth who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mandy (Christopher) Hewitt of Paw Paw; 2 sons, Scott (Jayne) Meeth of Mattawan and Brian Meeth of Paw Paw; 11 grandchildren, Greg, Anthony, Darren, Mason, Amanda, Jennifer, Grace, Emily, and Hanna Meeth, and Kaylee and Alaya Hewitt; mother, Wilma Chiddister of Paw Paw; sister, Diana Chiddister of Paw Paw; many nieces and nephews, and life-long friend, Denise Lounsbury. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph and a grandson, DaleScott Meeth. Family will receive friends Friday evening 6-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw. A memorial services will be held Saturday, (10/27) 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, Paw Paw with Rev. Joe Spackman officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Miss Kathy's Positively Dance or West Michigan Cancer Center, Kalamazoo.
