Charles Amon Watson

Pastor Charles Amon Watson, 78, of Mattawan , passed away peacefully with his family at his side Thursday April 22, 2021.

He was born October 23, 1942 in Kalamazoo, the son of the late Amon Watson and Helen (Nadwornik) Watson.

Pastor Chuck faithfully shared God’s Word in many homes in the Kalamazoo area for over 35 years.  He boldly proclaimed his Lord Jesus, His love and His power to all.  Chuck demonstrated this love and power to many, in many ways, and their lives are forever changed.  Pastor Chuck had a favorite saying, “When Jesus Christ returns, I have my ticket to get on His bus…..Do you?”

Chuck loved cars and driving them.  He also enjoyed woodworking in his spare time, making many unique collectables and trophies.

Chuck is survived by his beloved wife for over 55 years, Brigita (Ozols) Watson.  Also surviving are his son Charles (Holly) Watson; his daughter Makrina (Kevin) Conklin; nine grandchildren, Alysia (AJ) Boehm, Aleah Watson, Darren Watson, Adrianna Watson, Derek Watson, Cameron Serba, Jordan Serba, Brianna Conklin, Amanda Conklin; Two great-grandchildren, Theodore and Waylon Boehm.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a casual celebration of his life held May 16, 2021 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 33411 46th Ave., Paw Paw, Michigan.
