Passed away suddenly Sunday, October 4, 2015 at his home. Charlie was born May 5, 1954 in Boerne, TX the son of the late Donald J. and Ottilie (Schulze) Brown Sr. He was a 1972 graduate of Gobles High School. He enjoyed his Harley Davidson Motor Cycle and volunteered many hours doing charity work in South Haven, including the Veterans Poker Run, playing Santa Claus, tinkering, working in the kitchen at the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission, or helping anyone who needed a helping hand. He mostly enjoyed his interaction with people selling produce, especially pumpkins at this time of year. Surviving are seven siblings, Dora (Kevin) Stubbs, Jack (Jill) Brown and Donald (Marsha) Brown all of Paw Paw, Ruby (Henry) Weeks of Carlisle, PA, Ernest Brown of Gobles, Vermilya Ramirez of Houston, TX and Debra Brown of Lawrence, MI; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Arthur Dompier. Family will receive friends Wednesday, (10/14) 11 a.m. until 12 noon at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where a memorial service will be held at 12 noon with Pastor Frank Grabowski officiating.
