Cabe Aaron Burlison, Jr., age 79 of Paw Paw, passed away Friday, June 23, 2017 with his family at his side. He is survived by his wife, Cathryn (Pukys), eight children, Aaron (Christine) Burlison, Renee (Rob) Burkert, Jim (Melissa) Burlison, Rebecca (Kevin) Kuster, Ron (Shannon) Burlison, Natalie (Michael) Vicinelly, Jeff (Tracy Madka) Kilroy and Nick Mikolajczak, 18 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, sister Ann Metzler, brother in law, Jim Campbell and brother, Ronnie (Patti) Burlison. Cabe is preceded in death by his parents, Cabe Aaron Sr., and Eutha Paralea (Fleming) Burlison and his sister, Jo Campbell. Cabe served in the Air Force as a In-flight mechanic. He retired after 40 years of service with General Motors in Kalamazoo and was a long-time member of Faith Baptist Church. In life and retirement, Cabe enjoyed traveling to his hometown of Burlison, TN, to visit family, traveling to the Smokey Mountains, fishing and cooking. Cabe's love was unconditional for his family and friends. We welcome family and friends to visit on Sunday, July 2, 2017 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave, Paw Paw, where a funeral service will commence at 4:00 p.m. with Pator Chuck Rawsthorne officiating. Burial will take place Monday at Prospect Hill Cemetery with full military honors. Memorial contributions may be directed to Faith Baptist Church or the National Parkinson's Foundation.
