Brooks Lee Butler, age 67, of Kalamazoo, passed away at his home on August 14, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Kathy (Dragicevich) Butler, two daughters, Heather Christianson and Jolee (Bill) Moorian, four grandchildren, Ashlee Butler, Brooke Christianson, Emily (Tyler) Coughlin and Ben Moorian, one great granddaughter, Sophia Coughlin, one brother, Michael (Gloria) Butler and one sister, Billie (Marc) Sugden. Brooks was born February 7, 1950 in Kalamazoo to the late William and Margery (Moyer) Butler. He was an avid outdoorsman, spending time fishing, hunting and golfing. Brooks was a member of the Paw Paw Eagles and cherished time spent with his loving family. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 18, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave, Paw Paw, where a memorial service will commence at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim Gunderson officiating. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan or to the West Michigan Cancer Center.
