Passed away Sunday morning, June 12, 2011. Brooke was born September 3, 1983 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Jay and Carla Nilsen Firestone. She was employed at the Country Corner Day Care and loved working and caring for children. She was a Green Bay Packer fan, and enjoyed music, dancing and spending time with her daughter. Surviving are a daughter, Aliyah Vicol; parents, Carla (Raymond) Nilsen of Dixie, WA and Jay (Sherry) Firestone of Portage; maternal grandmother, Penny DeGoede of Galesburg; paternal grandmother, Betty Firestone of Paw Paw; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Family will receive friends Friday 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held at 12 noon with Rev. Troy Gentz of the Freshwater Community Church officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed to Chemical Bank for the benefit of her daughter Aliyah.
