She peacefully passed away at her home on Saturday, September 16th, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She was born August 7, 1955, in Paw Paw, the daughter of the late Jim Ramsey and Addie (King) Ramsey.
Brinda was a woman whose heart was as warm as the summer sun, and her spirit was as free as the wind that rustled through the trees on her beloved walks and bike rides. She found pure joy in the simple pleasures of life, always encouraging her family and friends to join her on outdoor adventures. Playing frisbee and her favorite game, "Aggravation," were just a couple of the ways she shared her zest for life with those she held dear.
One of Brinda's greatest passions was dancing with her grandchildren, twirling and laughing with them as they made memories that will forever hold a special place in their hearts. She was their biggest cheerleader and provided unwavering support and love in all their endeavors.
Brinda had a green thumb and a deep love for her plants, nurturing them with the same care and dedication she gave to her family. She found solace and beauty in the growth and life that flourished under her watchful eye.
Halloween was her favorite holiday, and she reveled in decorating her home with spooky delights, making it a gathering place for family and friends to celebrate together. Her enthusiasm for creating unforgettable moments made every holiday a cherished occasion.
Above all else, Brinda was a selfless and caring soul who put the needs of others before her own. She had an extraordinary ability to make everyone around her feel loved and valued. Brinda is survived by her two daughters; Stacy Vowels and Ashley Brown, three sisters; Mary-Ann Steele, Betty Rodriguez and Tina Evans, one brother; Tom Underwood, and her six grandchildren; Jason Vowels, Alesha Britton, Janessa, Jozeyln, Jaiyley and Jazayah Brown.
Brinda was preceded in death by her parents, one sister; Debra Hoffer and one brother; Timothy "Kink" Underwood.
Cremation has taken place. Per Brinda's wishes, there will be no public services at this time.
