Brian Dennis Shears, age 49, of Lawton, passed away May 28, 2016. He was born March 6, 1967 in Kalamazoo to Robert and the late Louise (Heighton) Shears. Brian is survived by his father, Robert, his wife, Candace, two brothers, Keith (Connie) Shears, Kenneth (Sherry) Shears, two sisters, Kimberly and Deborah Shears, longtime friend, Lora Redmond and Tucker Redmond along with many nieces and nephews. Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Louise in 2009. Brian had a huge heart and a zest for life. He enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends. His nieces and nephews were a big part of his life along with Lora's son Tucker, whom he supported in many sporting activities. Brian enjoyed woodworking, motorcycles and most of all, his dogs. He will be missed by his family and many friends. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
