Bernice passed away Monday afternoon, April 2, 2012 at Bronson Nursing and Rehab Center in Lawton. She was born March 30, 1924 in Allegan the daughter of the late John W. and Mildred Blanche (Tauner) Tyler. Bernice was employed by Shakespear of Kalamazoo as an injection molder and later at Adams Electronics as a Supervisor. She enjoyed crocheting, needle point flower gardening, growing indoor plants and her family. On October 1, 1961 in Gobles, Bernice was united in marriage to Donald W. Warner, Sr. who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, Robert (Jolly) Tenant of Portage, and Ronald (Sylvia) Tenant of Paw Paw; 2 step-sons; Dennis Warner of Kalamazoo, and Daniel Warner of Coloma; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Marion Warner of Hot Springs, AR, and Sharon (Bill) Heckman of Allegan; 2 brothers, Robert (Frances) Tyler of Portage and Melvin (Sharon) Tyler of Schoolcraft; several nieces and nephews. Bernice was preceded in death by 2 brothers: John William Tyler and Alvin Tyler. A graveside service will be held Thursday, 1 p.m. April 5th at Wildey Cemetery, Paw Paw with Rev. Tim Gunderson officiating.
