Amber passed away suddenly October 18, 2013 at her home. She was born January 21, 1980 in Paw Paw, the daughter of the late Robert Soule and Judy Atwater. She was a 1998 graduate of Paw Paw High School, worked as a cashier at Rite Aid for many years and was a Resident Care Assistant at White Oaks in Lawton. Amber was active in the Paw Paw Community Choir, the Paw Paw Village Players, Busy Hands group at Comstock Community Center and Society for Creative Anachronism. On May 8, 2011 in Paw Paw Amber was united in marriage to John Burnett, who survives. Also surviving are her grandmother, Ginnie Atwater of Paw Paw; four aunts, Barb (Jim) Alden of Paw Paw, Patti (Tim) Barnes and Nancy (Pat Laskovy) Atwater all of Lawton, and Liz Atwater of Paw Paw; three uncles, Joe (Dee) Stimac and Clarence (Linda) Stimac both of Paw Paw, and David Goddard of Lawton; cousins, Allison (Tony) Cirino, their daughter Hadlee, Natalie Alden, Tony Atwater, Joseph Paulus, Jeffery Goddard, Julie (Raymond) Grehl and their daughter Kayla; mother-in-law, Janet Knowlton. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandfather, Jerry Atwater, and two aunts, Mary Kay Marr, and Margaret Goddard. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 24, at Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw, Rev. Fr. Jim Haack of All Saints Celtic Episcopal Church, officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
