Addie past away Friday evening, January 6, 2012 at her home. Addie was born March 29, 1929 in Ashville, NC the daughter of the late Samuel and Texanna (Taylor) King. She was the owner of Addie's Restaurant in Lawton until her retirement in 1985. Addie enjoyed sewing, quilting, word searches and making Christmas decorations. On January 18, 1964 in Lawton, Addie was united in marriage to James R. Ramsey, Sr who survives. Also surviving are 9 children, Mary Ann Steele of Oneonta, AL, Betty Rodrigues of Altoona, AL, Tom Underwood of Kalamazoo, Debra Hoffer of Mattawan, Brinda Vowels of Paw Paw, James R. Ramsey, Jr of Lawton, Tim Underwood of Kalamazoo, Timothy (Dana) Ramsey, Sr. of Lawton, Tina (Mark Evans) Ramsey Gobles; 29 Grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; 7 nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Monday 4 to 7 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held Tuesday 11 a.m. with Rev. Ron Packer officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mattawan. Memorial contributions may be made to Borgess Visiting Nurses and Hospice.
