Esther Ellen Harvey

Esther Ellen Harvey, 72, of Mattawan, passed away Thursday September 28, 2023 at White Oaks in Lawton.

Esther was a strong person who never sat down, and was determined to get what she wanted. She enjoyed upholstery, both for work and for fun. She had many projects going at the same time, from home improvement, gardening, wine making. She enjoyed the outdoors and serene settings. When she did sit, which wasn't often she enjoyed reading, writing letters and postcards, keeping up with friends and family.

She was born March 7, 1951 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Howard LeRoy Harvey and Lois Evelyn (Horton) Harvey.

She is survived by her son, Howard Harvey, two sisters, Holly (Gary) Foshee and Charlotte (David) Warehan.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave., Paw Paw.
